PDP Governors’ Forum Host Delta State’s Oborevwori, Other Governors-elect In Abuja

By Grâçia Obi

The People Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja organized a rousing reception to welcome its newly elected and returning Governors.

At the events were newly elected Governors of Delta State, Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, his Plateau and Zamfara States counterparts, Caleb Mutfwang and Dauda lawal; Taraba State Governor-elect Agbu Kefas as well as Peter Mbah of Enugu State.

Meanwhile the Executive Chairman of Ughelli South Local Government Council, Olorogun Dr. Richard Kofi has congratulated Oborevwori on his victory at the Court of Appeal.

He noted that the judgment further affirms Oborevwori as eminently qualified to be Governor of Delta State and further validated his victory in the exercise.

“This is indeed a victory for democracy, the PDP and the good people of Delta State who freely gave Oborevwori the mandate to govern them for the next four years. This will also serve as a boost for the Governor-elect who will be sworn in on May 29 to deliver dividends of democracy to his people,” Kofi added.
