Presidential Election Petitions:: Ensure Justice, Truth, Constitutionality, Rule Of Law Are Truly Supreme, CLO Tells Supreme Court

The Civil Liberties Organization (CLO), Anambra State chapter, has made a “passionate and patriotic appeal” to Supreme Court to ensure “in words and actions that spirit of God, love for the nation, justice, truth, constitutionality and rule of law guides and directs them as they patriotically adjucate on Presidential Election Petitions instituted against election of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu by both Presidential candidates of PDP Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party Mr.Peter Obi currently before them.

“Pertinently Nigerians and global community are looking on Supreme Court for judiciously and transparently deliver just judgement that will satisfy all and sundry, to show that judiciary is indeed the last hope and faith of common man.”

The CLO spoke in a Press Statement by Evangelist Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme its Anambra State chairman and Comrade Chidi Mbah (Secretary).

They pleaded with the Supreme Court Judges “as men and women of impeccable character and integrity to restore people’s hope in the judiciary, our electoral system and our dear country.

“It is only justice and truth that precipitates peace, patriotism, unity, forgiveness, love and unprecedented socioeconomic growth and development.

“We are appealing for unbiased, impartial, truthful and transparent judgement devoid of technicalities to the satisfaction of all citizens, litigants and global community.”
