Brace Up Nigerians, More Hardship Coming, Primate Ayodele Warns

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned Nigerians to brace up as the policies of the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to unleash a new wave of renewed hardship that would see the prices of food commodities soar higher in the country.

In a statement by his Media Aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele said that except the government does the needful and provide immediate solution to the current crisis in the country, the hardship situation would worsen and put the country into chaos.

He noted that the price of rice per bag would increase to N120,000, beans to cost N200,000, a crate of egg to be more than N7,000, and that there will be sharp increase in the prices of other commodities.

‘’Except the government does what is needed, there will still be more economic hardship in the country. The government needs to wake up from its slumber, we have much more important things to handle that what the government is currently doing.’’

‘’In the coming days, if the government doesn’t do what is needed, I see a bag of rice being sold for N120,000, beans would cost N200,000, a loaf of bread will cost N5,000, Bottle water will be N400, biscuit will cost N500 per one, even groundnut will cost N200, a small tuber of yam will be sold for N7,000, Crate of egg will exceed N7,000.’’

Primate Ayodele stated that the budget for the country will not be enough due to the economic troubles that will occur, warning that unless the government begins to work, there will be too much debt that will affect Nigeria’s international status.

‘’ I don’t see the budget of Nigeria becoming sufficient despite the additions, the government will still have to borrow more money to augment it and it still won’t be enough. It may get to a point where yearly budget will not work in Nigeria, it would probably be quarterly or twice in a year because of economic problems.’’
