It was celebration galore in Abagana community, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State as sons, daughters, friends, and well-wishers gathered in thanksgiving to celebrate the Ekwuluomu day.
The glamorous event began with masquerades flogging themselves as sign to mark the activities of the day.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Priest of Ekwuluomu, Chief Onukwube Nwankwo Mouzoba, prayed for the entire community for God’s continued grace, strength, and wisdom upon everybody.
Anambra festivals are vibrant cultural celebrations highlighting Igbo heritage, featuring traditional dances, masquerades, showcasing rich traditions and ancestral roots and community unity.
Abagana holds several important traditional festivals that help strengthen the town’s unity and cultural identity.

Beaming with smiles, the Chief Priest son, Uzochukwu Mouzoba thanked God for the privilege his father, the Chief Priest of Ekwuluomu served the deity commended the people of Abagana for the honour done to his father, promising to maintain and continue to represent the community well, while praying for God’s abundant blessings upon Abagana.
