Details of how terrorists’ bomb exploded on Kaduna-Abuja, how they opened fire, targeting driver and engine (Picture)

The Boko Haram Terrorists who planted explosive on the Kaduna-Abuja bound train immediately opened fire after the explosions had damaged the rail tracks.

The terrorists specifically targeted the driver to stop him from maneuvering the train and aimed the engine to set it on fire so the train could stop and put the passengers in harms way.

Former Kaduna State Senator and human rights activist, Shehu Sani who first broke the news of the train attack, the “brave” driver still “struggled to move (the train) towards Kaduna Rijana station.”

He noted that on Thursday morning, he was on board the another train “when our train ran over another explosive” and damaged the railings.

Sani stated that “the train nearly skid off its path, then we miraculously escaped.”

According to Senator Sani on his verified Twitter handle” “On Wednesday night, bandits attacked the Kaduna-Abuja train. They planted an explosive that damaged the rail track and shattered the windscreen of the train engine.

“They then opened fire, targeting the driver and the (train) engine. It happened between Dutse and Rijana stations.

“The driver struggled to move towards Kaduna Rijana station.

“This morning, I was on board when our train ran over another explosive, damaged the railings. The train nearly skid off its path. Then we miraculously escaped.”
