Nigeria: Herdsmen Attack Plateau State Community, Kill 15 Residents

For the second time in four days, bandits suspected to be Fulani Herdsmen have attacked the Ancha community in Bassa Local Government Area (LGA) of Plateau State, killing not less than 15 residents.

On January 8, 2022, bandits alleged to be herdsmen attacked Ancha community, killing two residents.

Sources confirmed that the terror bandits invaded the community around 1am on Wednesday morning when residents were sleeping.

They then went into the homes of residents, shooting and inflicting injuries on them.

Early Wednesday morning killing came barely 24 hours after bandits ambushed and killed three persons on transit along Tyaana village, Riyom LGA of Plateau State.
