DSS Rescues Kidnapped Mother Of Kano APC Senatorial Candidate, In Jigawa State

Barely 24 hours after Hajia Laure Mai-Kunu, the aged mother of the Kano Central Senatorial District candidate, A. A Zaura, was kidnapped, operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS), on Tuesday rescued her in Jigawa State.

A group of bandits had invaded Zaura in Ungogo Local Government Area (LGA) of Kano State and kidnapped the mother of the All Progressive Congress Senatorial Candidate, on Monday.

The rescue of Hajia Mai-kunu was confirmed by the Chairman of Ungogo LGA, Abdullahi Ramat, adding that she was rescued on Tuesday in Jigawa State.

This was also collaborated by a top DSS operative she was rescued alongside another aged woman, who was abducted for about 10 days.
