The wave of marriage crash rocking the Nigerian entertainment scene has hit the home of popular Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha a.k.a Basketmouth, as he announced that his marriage has crashed.

Basketmouth and his wife, Elsie, have decided to end their relationship in what looked like a mutual divorce after they had explored all options to resolve their differences.

The comedian in a post on Instagram confirmed that he and his wife have decided to end their marriage even as he said he regretted bringing his private life to the social media platforms.

According to Basketmouth, after much deliberations, they came to the painful conclusion to part ways while urging the public to respect their privacy at this moment.

“As we move on separately, we will continue to work together to give our beautiful children all the care, love, guidance and support they need.

“We humbly ask that you respect our privacy as we navigate through these times,” he said.

Basketmouth and Elsie Uzoma Okpocha tied the knot in 2010. They have three children together, Janelle, Jason, and Maya Okpocha.
