COVID-19 – British Health Secretary tests positive

Britain’s Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, Friday confirmed that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

His confirmation came hours  after the British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson personally announced that he had contracted the dreaded virus

Both men said they were in good health condition and that they were working from their homes as part of self-isolation to avoid spreading the virus.

Announcing the result of his test, Hancock tweeted, “Following medical advice, I was advised to test for #Coronavirus.

“I’ve tested positive. Thankfully my symptoms are mild and I’m working from home & self-isolating.”
