COVID-19: Confirmed cases in Nigeria now 111

To drive home the message of the spreading wings of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday night announced that the number of confirmed cases of the virus in Nigeria has risen to from 97 to 111.

The NCDC said in a Tweet @NCDCgov: “Fourteen new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 9 in Lagos and 5 in FCT. As at 09:30 pm 29th March there are 111 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with 1 death.”

 
The breakdown of cases by States show that Lagos now has 68 COVID-19 cases, FCT- 21, Ogun – 3,
Enugu – 2, Ekiti- 1, Oyo – 7, Edo – 2, Bauchi – 2, Osun – 2 and one each for Rivers, Benue and Kaduna.
