COVID-19 cases in 52 African Union member States reach 10,075, 487 deaths, 913 discharged

A total of Coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases in 52 African Union (AU) member States has reached 10,075.

In addition, the total of COVID-19 deaths of 487 have been recorded while there were 913 recoveries (discharged).

The Africa Centre for Disease Control (Africa CDC), the technical institution of the AU charged with strengthening the capacity of Member States to respond quickly and effectively to disease threats, the figures were as of 9:00 am at the EAT (Eastern African Time) on Tuesday.

On Monday, the total figure from the AU member 51 countries were 9457 cases, 442 deaths, and 848 recoveries.

For Nigeria, as at 09:30 pm 6th April, there were a total of 238 confirmed cases of #COVID19. Out of the number, 35 have been discharged while five deaths have been recorded.
