COVID-19: Nigeria’s confirmed cases rise by 13 to 318

Nigeria’s record of confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) increased by 13 by Saturday evening, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 318.

In addition to the total number of 318, 70 have been discharged while a total of 10 deaths has been recorded.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said on its Twitter handle that of the 13 new cases, 11 were recorded in Lagos, 1 in Delta and 1 in Kano.

According to the Tweet by NCDC, “As at 9:30pm 11th April, there are 318 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 70 have been discharged with 10 deaths as there are 19 States with confirmed cases in Nigeria.”

With the new figure, the breakthrough for the States show that Lagos now has 174, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) – 56, Osun – 20, Edo – 12, Oyo – 11, Ogun – 7, Bauchi – 6, Kaduna – 6, Akwa Ibom – 5, Katsina – 4, Delta – 3, Enugu – 2, Ekiti – 2, Rivers -2, Kwara – 2, Ondo – 2, Benue – 1, Niger – 1, Anambra – 1 and Kano-1.
