Sacked Kano commissioner who celebrated Kyari’s death, tests positive for COVID-19

Former Kano State Commissioner for Works, Muazu Magaji has tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Mr Magaji was sacked for celebrating the death of Abba Kyari, late Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, who died of COVID-19.

Magaji who announced his COVID-19 status on his Facebook page said he has been moved into one of the State’s isolation centre facilities.

According to his Facebook post: “This morning my NCDC test is out… I have been confirmed COVID-19 positivee… and have been moved to one of the state facilities…pray for us.”
