Afro-Asian community march against global terrorism in Abuja, commemorates 12th anniversary of November 26, 2008 Mumbai terrorists attack

The Afro-Asian Community Initiative for Development has organised “a silent march” on the 12th anniversary of the November 26, 2008 Mumbai terrorists attack in India.

Both the Indian and Nigerian community members participated in the March which was to condemn global terrorism as India marked the 12th anniversary of the terrorists attack.

Mr Kiran M Gosavi, Vice President of the Afro-Asian Community Initiative for Development, said at the match which ended at the Indian High Commission, Abuja that “we feel that both India and Nigeria has come long way benefiting through business relations and community interaction.

“Both countries have suffered and lost innocents lives because of terrorism, it’s high time that both the Governments should raise their voice and take drastic measures to curtail terrorism and focus on development of their respective countries.

“We condemn the terrorists attacks in Nigeria and also pay my tribute to the innocent lives lost by terrorism. We salute our brave soldiers who constantly safeguard our peoples at the border and in the fight the insurgency.”
