Bandits raid Police base in Nabordo, Bauchi, kill Inspector, his friend

The Bauchi State Police Command has confirmed that an Inspector, identified as Muktar Ibrahim, was killed in Nabordo, Toro Local Government Area of the State when bandits stormed and opened fire at the Safer Highways base of the Nigerian Police.

The Police Inspector was identified as Muktar Ibrahim while his friend was identified as Uba Sama’ila, the son of the Ward Head of Nabordo.

Spokesperson of the Bauchi Police Command, Ahmed Wakili, in confirmed the attack and the two deaths, said it happened on Saturday night.

Wakili also said that the Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi, has deployed more patrol teams in the area.

Over 10 policemen have been killed in the line of duty in the last two weeks.
