COAS, PGSO, 3 security aides, Army Provost Marshal, DMI and four NAF crew members died in the Kaduna air crash

Details of the victims of the Beachcraft 350 Nigerian Air Force (NAF) aircraft in which Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Ibrahim died has emerged.

Sources said that apart from the COAS, six serving personnel of the Army died in the crash.

Also, all four crew members of the aircraft died, making the final tragic roll to 11.

Along with General Attahiru aboard the aircraft was Brigadier General Abdulkadir his Principal General Staff Officer (PGSO), Brigadier General Olayinka (Provost Marshal, Army), Brigadier General Kuliya (Director of Military Intelligence – DMI, Majors LA HAYAT and HAMZA, (security aides) Sargent GT Umar, (Orderly).

Among the crew were Flight Lieutenants TO Asaniyi and AA Olufade (Pilots), Sergeant Adesina and Aircraftman (ACM) Oyedepo.
