Bandits kill 8 farmers in Chikun LGA, Kaduna State

Bandits on Saturday killed at least eight farmers in Buruku and Udaw‎a villages of Chikun Local Government Area (LGA) of Kaduna State.

Buruku and Udawa are located along Kaduna-Birnin Gwari highway, an area ravaged by constant bandits’ invasion.

Sources confirmed that the farmers were killed while working on their farmland.

A resident of the area and a community leader, Muhammed Umar, who confirmed the attacks on Saturday said: “Five farmers were killed in Buruku while three were killed in Udawa. We are tired of burying our men daily. We need help.”
