IPOB bans ‘Fulani’ Cattle in ‘Igboland’ From 8 April 2022

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) said it has banned Fulani cattle from Igboland effective April 8, 2022.

In a statement by Mazi Chika Edoziem, Head, Directorate of State of IPOB said that the “ban takes complete effect six month from 08/10/2021.”

According to the statement, “8th April 2022 is the date. From that date, no more Fulani Cow shall be allowed into Biafraland for any reason, not for burials, title taking, weddings etc.

“Only Efi Igbo (Local Cow) shall be consumed and used for all ceremonies in Biafraland.”

Part of the issues that gave IPOB separatists wide acceptance was its campaign against the “murderous Fulani herdsmen who hide under rearing cows to kill and destroy farmlands in Igbo land.”
