Experts say that saturated fat in food raises cholesterol, not necessarily dietary cholesterol. Apart from that carbohydrates and sugars in foods are the major contributors to increased cholesterol and triglycerides. However, adding eggs to the diet in moderation will not add up to the cholesterol levels.

If the quantity of eggs is more than the suggested amount, then it may lead to an increase in the cholesterol level. Thus, adding at least 2-3 eggs per day is a healthy way to manage weight only when paired with low carb veggies and leafy greens.
