Anambra Election: APGA, Soludo alleges Army escorting 35 buses from Imo to Anambra “on rigging mission”

The Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo Campaign on Saturday evening alleged that its “credible intelligence” shows that about 35 buses have left Imo State for Anambra State with election materials on a rigging mission.

According to a statement by Anambra State Commissioner of Information and Public Enlightenment, C. Don Adinuba who doubles as Director, Media and Communications, Soludo Campaign, “the buses are accompanied by men in Nigerian Army combat dress.”

The statement added that “the mission, according to an insider who doesn’t want his name disclosed because of the sensitive nature of his job, is to substitute the election materials used in today’s Anambra State gubernatorial elections with those from Imo, and thus create the impression that the All progressives Congress (APC) is winning the vote.

“The whole enterprise, according to sources, is at the behest of the controversial Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, chairman of the Andy Uba Gubernatorial Campaign Council.

“Relevant bodies like the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the security agencies as well as election monitors, the media, civil society organizations and the international community are advised to watch out for what has appropriately been called the Hope Uzodimma invasion team in Anambra State.
