3rd U.S. sponsored Annual Nigeria Tech Summit opens in Abuja on Friday

The 3rd Nigeria Tech Summit of the Global Startup Ecosystem will take place on Friday December 17, 2021 at the Abuja Transcorp Hilton Hotel. 

The programme, sponsored by the U.S. Mission in Nigeria, is hosted in partnership with accelerator partners IBM Cloud, AWS, Google Cloud, Sendgrid, and more. 

According to a statement from the U.S. Mission in Nigeria, Abuja, “delegates from across Nigeria and around the world will discuss the future of employment, entrepreneurship, and education in Nigeria as the country faces its highest level of youth unemployment and civic unrest. 

“Insights and initiatives leveraging tech and innovative inclusive ways to accelerate the future of Nigeria will be discussed.”

The stated noted that the U.S. Ambassador to Nigeria, Mary Beth Leonard, will make remarks at the opening of the event. 

During the afternoon session, Nigerian startups who participated in a boot camp will pitch and present their companies from which winners will be selected.
