El-Rufai’s Son Mocks Peter Obi, Kingsley Moghalu, Calls Muoghalu ‘Twitter President,

Bashir, a son of the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has taken to his Twitter account to mock the former Governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi, and the former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Kingsley Moghalu.

While Peter Obi, a Nigerian politician and businessman, was the Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 election, Kingsley Moghalu is a Nigerian political economist and Presidential candate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) in the same election.

While Obi is yet to formally declare his interest in the 2023 election, Muoghalu is a Presidential aspirant in the coming election.

The son of the Kaduna State Governor took to his Twitter account to make a sarcastic comment against the presidential ambitions of both Obi and Moghalu, insinuating that while the former Anambra State Governor cannot win the presidential race, the former CBN Deputy Governor is Nigeria’s “Twitter Branch” President.

Said Bashir in his tweet: “Peter Obi cannot not win. Kingsley Moghalu is the undisputed President of Nigeria (Twitter Branch), please.”

Obi recently tweeted that he is willing to run for President if his party, PDP, zones the ticket to the South and he has been trending on Twitter since then.

“Yes, I will step into the field to contest for the opportunity to serve this great country as President if my party, the PDP, zones the ticket to the south. But if it is thrown open, Nigerians will also hear from me,” he wrote on Twitter on Tuesday, February 1,” he said.

Moghalu, who in 2019 ran under the platform of YPP and lost to incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari of APC said he will recontest the Presidential election in 2023 but is not yet clear under which party platform.
