Business, hospitality and entertainment promoter, Chief Obinna Iyiegbu, better known as Obi Cubana, has extolled the musical talent of American-born Nigerian singer and performer, Ada King, describing her as the next best thing to happen to the nation’s entertainment industry.
While receiving in his palatial office at Hustle & Bustle, Friday, in Abuja, the 19-year-old “Wahala” exponent and rising star, who arrived Nigeria late last month to promote her music and intervene in the rising cases of illicit drug use across the country, Iyiegbu expressed the commitment of the Cubana Group to collaborate with Infinite Music and Entertainment Inc. USA to promote its artiste and the music label’s content.
Earlier in her remarks, the rising songstress and activist had commended Iyiegbu for the positive image he has advanced for Nigeria and its business community across the globe.
She, particularly, noted that Iyiegbu’s renowned philanthropic gestures and the many platforms he has set up to advance the cause of the nation’s youth were moves that were aimed at curbing unemployment and juvenile delinquency in the country, which Nigerians everywhere across the world must learn to laud and emulate.
While using the opportunity to regale the entertainment promoter with her vision of building rehabilitation centres for victims of drug abuse,who she emphasised have continued to be treated without dignity in our local communities and across the country, the California-based music act called for collaboration between her music label and the Cubana Group to achieve all- round success in her music and other initiatives.
To cap the visit, Nigerian- born President/CEO, Infinite Music & Entertainment Inc. USA, Dr. Kester Ezuma, also commended Iyiegbu for the great service he has continued to offer to Nigeria within so short a time.
He told the young entrepreneur to continue to hold on to the virtues that have won him admiration and laurels across the world, stressing that his famed industry and simplicity remained a source of pride and lessons to many young Nigerians that one must not soil one’s hands or get involved in shady activities in order to make it big in life.
Among those who accompanied the young music act and performer to the event were the Nigerian Country Manager of Infinite Music & Entertainment Inc. USA, Prince A.P Okafor, the Artiste’s Content Manager, Leo and other members of her band in Nigeria, who are billed to perform with her at the various Cubana brands starting from next week.
