Fear Grips Anambra State As ‘Unknown Gunmen’ Notify 9 LGAs To Expect “Continuous War” Unless IPOB Leader Is Released, Taunts Governor Soludo

  • The LGAs include Ihiala, Aguata, Nnewi South, Awka North, Awka South, Idemili North, Idemili South, Orumba South, Orumba North and Anambra East

There are palpable fears in Anambra State as an anonymous group of Unknown Gunmen have written letters to nine Local Government Areas of the State, notifying them of their intention to begin massive attacks on them.

The “continuous war,” the group said, would only end if their “boss,” Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) is released.

The group of violent men also taunted Governor Chukwuma Soludo who they named “Professor” to be ready for them as “it is time for action and not time to speak big grammar and talking.”

The anonymous group, which has been blamed for the escalating violence and killings which have disrupted the peace and security of the State, also warned the nation’s defence and security operatives to get ready for action in ‘Biafra Land.’

Among the LGAs which the gunmen listed for attack include Ihiala, Aguata, Nnewi South, Awka North, Awka South, Idemili North, Idemili South, Orumba South, Orumba North and Anambra East.

According to the message which is spreading fast in Social Media groups: “These local government areas should wait for us soon. We are warning our dear Professor that it is time for action and not time to speak big grammar and talking. All the security men occupying should get ready for action.

“Go and tell the President to release our oga (boss), Onyendu, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, or face continuous war – FINAL WARNING”.
