  • Russia capable of continuing military operation despite NATO’s support for Kiev, Dmitry Peskov told

Russia is forging ahead with its war in Ukraine and the involvement of North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), the umbrella military body of the U.S. and its Western allies, would in no way affect Russia’s goals, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Rossiya-1 on Sunday.

“In fact, NATO has got involved in the Ukrainian conflict. However, it is in no way affecting our goals. That said, the operation will continue and we will go through with it,” he said in an interview with host of the “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin” TV program Pavel Zarubin.

“Apparently, it is making us mobilize our economic and other forces. The Kiev regime is one thing but NATO’s potential is another thing. It means an additional burden. However, our potential makes us capable of continuing the operation in this situation,” Peskov noted.
