Gunmen On Rampage Along Enugu-Abakaliki Highway, Kill 2 Soldiers, 3 Policemen In Enugu-Ebonyi Border

Rampaging gunmen struck again along the Enugu-Abakaliki highway on Saturday night killing two soldiers and three policemen in Enugu-Ebonyi border.

Sources confirmed that the gunmen operated in a Toyota Sienna SUV and that they first killed the two soldiers in a military checkpoint in Enugu side of the highway before proceeding to the Enugu-Ebonyi border.

The source noted that they shot dead the three policemen at the Enugu-Ebonyi border checkpoint along the highway.

A policeman was reportedly wounded at the checkpoint during the shooting and is in stable condition as he is receiving treatment in a undisclosed hospital.
