Odd News: MASSOB Spokesperson Prepares Own Grave In Advance, Says He’ll Like To Be Buried In Okwe, Imo Community

The Spokesperson of the Biafra Independence Movement-Movement for Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra (BIM-MASSOB), Mazi Chris Anierobi Mocha, has prepared his own grave at Okwe community in imo State, saying that the rising insecurity in Nigeria has forced him to do so.

Describing his “TOMB” as  “a beautiful place,” Mocha said he wished that after his death in active service, he would like to be buried there.

The Spokesperson, who also doubles as the Senior Special Assistant to BIM-MASSOB leader, Ralph Uwazuruike, also decried the incessant arrests and  secret killings of members  of his organization, blaming it on the All Progressives Congress (APC) led federal government of Nigeria, but vowed that not even President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria can stop the actualization of Biafra.

He stated that “Biafra is God’s will and God’s will must always triumph no matter how long it lasted.”

In a statement he personally issued, Mocha said  the repeated onslaughts by the federal government security agencies had on many occasions resulted  to casualty figures on members of his group, which makes them not know who will be the next victim.

He said it is for this reason that he has dug his own  grave in advance at the ‘Biafran Cemetery’ at Umunamu Village, Okwe, in Onuimo Local Government Area (LGA) of Imo State.

Mocha said: “It’s more honourable for the members of BIM-MASSOB who died while in active service to be buried  at  the Tomb in Okwe in Onuimo  Council Area of Imo state in order to have their  gentle souls  rest permanently and receive eternal peace of mind.

“The Tomb is a large graveyard  built of stone above the ground at Umunamu, Okwe for the dead veteran soldiers and members who sacrificed their lives for the sake of Biafra from 1967 to 1970  and 1999 till date.”

He claimed to have “served MASSOB and BIM in various disciplines and headed different standing committees including the new Biafra-currency-implementation committee on June 10, 2010 which had since submitted its report to Chief Ralph Uwazuruike.
