Kaduna: Bandits Kill Priest’s Brother, Abduct Rev. Fr, Others in Kushe Gugdu, Kagarko LGA

Bandits in the early hours of Monday attacked Kushe Gugdu, in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State, abducting the Parish Priest of St Stephen Parish, Reverend Father Bobbo Pashcal,

The bandits also killed the brother of one of the priests, Rev Fr Anthony Yero while abducting an unidentified number of people.

Chancellor, Archdiocese of Kaduna, Rev Fr Christian Okewu Emmanuel, who gave details of the attack in a letter addressed to all Priests, Religious and Laity, said: I write to inform you of the attack on Kushe Gugdu and the abduction of one of our priests, Rev Fr Bobbo Pashcal, Parish Priest of St Stephen Parish, Kushe Gugdu, in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State, from his residence during the early hours of today, Monday, 17th November, 2025.

“During the attack, many others were abducted, and the brother of Rev Fr Anthony Yero was killed.

“We call on all men of goodwill to join us in praying for their safety and quick release from the hands of their abductors, and for the peaceful repose of the dead. Amen.”
