Terror bandits kill Chief Iman, several others in Faskari LGA, Katsina State, Northwest Nigeria

A group of terror bandits have killed a Chief Imam and an unspecified number of people in Sabon Garin Bilbis community, Faskari Local Government Area (LGA) of Katsina State, Northwest Nigeria.

Sources confirmed that the terror bandits invaded the community in large numbers around 8.45pm on Monday, killing the cleric and “several defenceless residents.”

It is not yet clear the number of people killed in the “atrocity.”

On Monday, some terror bandits kidnapped the Chief Imam of Yangoji Central Mosque, Kwali Area Council, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, Abdullahi Abubakar Gbedako, and his sons.

The Cleric was abducted alongside his sons, Aliyu Usman Abubakar, 22, and Ibrahim Abubakar, 11, on Friday when the heavily armed bandits invaded their residence.
