Ezekwesili’s Transition Committee Submits 120-Page Report to Anambra State Governor-elect, Soludo

After about 6 weeks “of thorough scrunity and debates,” the Dr Oby Ezekwesili-led Anambra State Governorship Transition Committee on Saturday submitted a 120-page final report of its findings to the Governor-elect, Professor Chukwuma Soludo.

The report was submitted at Golden Tulip Hotel, Agulu, the same venue of the inauguration of the committee.

According to a statement by a Spokesperson to Professor Soludo, Izuchukwu Adichie, “the committee submitted the compressed report from over 2000 pages it received from 17-subtask committees.

“The committees are charged to present the current assessment of the state and recommend short, medium and long term actions for the smooth take-off of the incoming government.

“With the cooperation of the state government internal transition team, government agencies and boards, and other several groups that helped to arrive at its recommendation, the transition committee had produced priorities, policies and programs for a Governor Soludo.

“Having handed the report to the Governor-elect, it is expected that his administration will act on the recommendations of the committee once he is formally inaugurated as the Executive Governor of Anambra state on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the State Government House, Awka.

“Ndi-Anambra are enjoined to work together, to build upon the foundations of the State’s founding fathers as the state set to transit into the 4th Industrial Revolution and post oil economy.”
