Nnamdi Kanu, subdued, in handcuffs as he arrived Nigeria

Picture of Nnamdi Kanu, acclaimed leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has emerged. And it is not what he would have wished as a portral of himself.

The picture showed Kanu was brought back in handcuffs with stubble, showing he has not shaved for days.

He was uncharacteristically lean.

In one of the pictures, it showed not the bombastic “invincible” Nnamdi Kanu but a subdued person, alone, with head bowed.

The Federal Government, through the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr Abubakar Malami, announced the rearrest of Kanu on Tuesday in Abuja.
