Abuja Unity Praise Concert holds Sunday

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Kubwa Zone, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) holds its Unity Praise Concert on Sunday the 22nd of August, 2021.

According to a statement by PFN Zonal Spokesperson, Reverend Dr. Okechukwu Ifeachor, the concert has as theme, ‘Fresh Glory,” and will take place at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), New Life Assembly, Phase 3, Kubwa, FCT.

The Praise Concert is coming few weeks after the inauguration of the executive of the association by the National President of PFN, Bishop Wale Oke, who was represented by Archbishop Joseph Ojo.

Speaking on the importance of the concert, the PFN Chairman Kubwa Zone, Apostle Samson Agukwe, said the event is aimed at bringing together Christians in Kubwa to praise God for his love, goodness, mercy and faithfulness.

He said praising and rejoicing in the presence of God by those whom Jesus Christ saved by grace is an essential part of worshipping God, noting that God dwells in the praises of his people.

Apostle Agukwe said that despite the challenges facing the country, it is expedient for Christians to continue to praise God for sustaining them and keeping the country together.

The PFN Chairman Kubwa Zone stated that the purpose of the Unity Praise Concert 2021 is to underscore the importance of unity among Christians, saying that it is unfortunate that Christians are being divided because of denominationalism.

He said that Jesus Christ prayed to God for the oneness of his followers as he and God are one, and enjoined followers of Jesus Christ to be one, and live in unity irrespective of their denomination.

PFN Kubwa mass choir of one hundred members led by Pastor Frank Uje will present special songs, the first of its kind in the history of PFN Kubwa Zone. There will be special presentations by other gospel artistes.

Apostle Agukwe called on Christians in the FCT, especially in Kubwa, to attend the event, saying that COVID-19 protocols will be observed in the programme that His Lordship, Bishop Henry Oliseyenum will be ministering the Word.
