Your Political, Economic Policies Will Destroy Nigeria, Revise Them, Shekh Gumi Tells Tinubu

Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, has urged Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to revise some of his policies so as not to destroy Nigeria.

Shekh Gumi, in a special video message posted on his official Facebook page, told President Tinubu that if the tough policies being implemented by his administration were not reversed, they may destroy Nigeria and the government.

Though the Islamic cleric did not state the political and economic policies to be reversed, he urged Tinubu to seek advice from experts before implementing certain policies, and should not rely on those he described as sycophants.

Sheikh Gumi said in the 22-second video dated August 25, 2023: “President Tinubu, you have to revise your policies; if not they are going to destroy the nation and they are also going to destroy your government.

“Your political and economic policies, you have to review them. You have to ask people who know better and don’t depend on these sycophant.”
