Nigeria’s COVID-19 figures now 873 with 91 new cases

Nigeria on Wednesday recorded 91 new confirmed cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and two new deaths, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 873.

The nation also recorded a total of 28 deaths and 197 recoveries.

According to data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the 91 new cases were spread across eight States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Specifically, Lagos, the epicentre of the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria, recorded 74 new cases. Katsina recorded 5, Ogun 4, Delta 2, Edo 2, Kwara 1, Oyo 1, FCT (Federal Capital Territory) 1 and Adamawa 1.
