Niger Republic troops rescue 9 Nigerian soldiers after terrorists attack in Gatawa forest, Sokoto State

Niger Republic have rescued nine Nigerian soldiers who escaped a terrorists attack from Gatawa forest in Sokoto State, Northwest Nigeria.

The rescue was after an attack led by notorious terror bandit kingpin, Kachalla Turji, on a military base in Gatawa where Nigerian Security operatives comprising soldiers, Police Mobile Forces and Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) personnel were located.

Sources confirmed that Kachalla Turji has relocated his camp from Fakai in Zurmi of Zamfara State to East of Isa, Tozai in Sokoto State due to incessant airstrikes by Nigerian Air Force (NAF) from Katsina.
