U.S. Embassy Abuja Meets Mi-Yetti Allah Delegation

The U.S. Embassy, Abuja on Monday announced it meeting with the Mi-Yetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN).

The Embassy said in a post on its X handle that the meeting was “to hear about the concerns of herder communities.”

MACBAN is a loose partisan advocacy group centered on promoting the welfare of about 100,000 semi-nomad and nomad Fulani pastoralists in Nigeria.

According to the post by the Embassy: “Today, Ambassador Mills met with the Mi-Yetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) to hear about the concerns of herder communities. 

“The meeting included discussion of the causes of insecurity and opportunities to peacefully resolve conflict.”
