ANCISRO Begins Moral Reformation Campaign in Anambra Schools

By Chinwendu Uzoatu

The Anambra State Civic and Social Reformation Office (ANCISRO) has kicked off its schools’ outreach program aimed at restoring moral values among students across the state.

The campaign, held in partnership with the Foundation for Attitude Repair (FAR), began at College of the Masters, Awka, with the theme: “The Deceptions in What You See and the Reality of What They Are.”

Speaking at the event, ANCISRO Managing Director, Sir Chuka Nnabuife, stressed the importance of returning to timeless values such as planning, time management, integrity, and prayer. He warned students against being influenced by misleading lifestyles portrayed on social media, describing hard work and honesty as the real ingredients for lasting success.

FAR representative, Emmanuel John, also cautioned the students to steer clear of cultism, drug abuse, and get-rich-quick schemes, emphasizing that discipline and strong moral character are essential for true ambition.

The school’s principal, Maduakonam Okeke, thanked ANCISRO for the initiative, describing it as a much-needed complement to classroom learning. He called on the state government to fully support the outreach campaign.

The moral reorientation program is expected to continue in other schools across Anambra State
