Jonathan, Obi Meets In Abuja Over ‘State Of Our Dear Nation’

The Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, Peter Obi, on Thursday met with former President Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja.

Obi, in a post on his official X handle, described Jonathan after the meeting as an “elder brother, statesman, and leader.”

He then noted that their discussions focused on national issues and the state of the country.

According to Obi: “Today in Abuja, I met with my very dear elder brother, statesman, and leader, former President Goodluck Jonathan @GEJonathan. We had a fruitful closed-door meeting and discussed the state of our dear nation. -PO.”

The post by Obi was silent on whether they discussed the 2027 presidential elections.
