U.S. Focused On “Ending The Horrific Violence Across Nigeria” – Congressman Moore

Congressman Riley M. Moore on Tuesday said President Donald Trump and members of the U.S. Congress are determined to “ending the horrific violence across Nigeria.”

Moore, who spoke during an appearance on U.S. television network, Fox News, said: “A contact with sources on the ground in Nigeria described the last week as a “bloodbath” for Christians.

“As many as 300 have been killed throughout that region of Nigeria. We’ve had this priest who has been kidnapped as well, with 10 of his parishioners.

“I will point out a lot of those were Muslims, actually, that were refusing to submit to Sharia law… They were killed. But amongst those were also Christians, and they were burned inside of a church. They set it on fire.

“But @POTUS and my colleagues are singularly focused on defending our brothers and sisters in Christ and ending the horrific violence across Nigeria.”
